Pike Road Theatre Company is excited to announce a special addition to our 2026 5th season! We are thrilled to bring the beloved musical The Fantasticks to Pike Road. Premiering Off-Broadway in 1960, The Fantasticks holds the record for the longest-running musical in the world with 42 years and 17,162 performances. This timeless classic continues to capture hearts with its charming storytelling and unforgettable music.

PRTC is delighted to return to Pike Road with an all-star cast performing in the intimate setting of Pike Road Town Hall’s Mezzanine. Join us for a magical journey into a whimsical tale of love, life, and the power of imagination.

Show Description:  
The Fantasticks tells the enchanting story of two neighboring fathers who devise a clever plan by pretending to feud, hoping to encourage their children, Matt and Luisa, to fall in love. Through their youthful romance, the couple experiences the joys and challenges of growing up — from innocent dreams and first love to the bittersweet realities that follow. Featuring iconic songs such as “Try to Remember” and “Soon It's Gonna Rain,” this musical celebrates the enduring nature of love and the wonder of storytelling.
